Ranks and Distinctions
Ranks
The students holding the top 10 positions in terms of aggregate of marks are allotted
ranks. Students getting the same marks are allotted the same rank. Therefore there may
be more than 10 students who are rank holders.
Distinctions
A candidate will be deemed to have passed with distinction in the Executive Programme
examination if he obtains at one sitting a minimum of 50% of marks in each subject and
70% marks or above in the aggregate in both the modules without obtaining any
exemption.
Prizes
In addition to the ranks and distinctions awarded by the institutes, the following prizes
are awarded to the students by various sponsors.
Some are sponsored by the Institute and its chapters and some others by private trusts
or charitable institutions and some others by individuals.
ALL INDIA PRIZE AWARDS:‐
1. President’s Silver Medal
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive program Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in any subject and obtaining the highest marks in the aggregate taking into account the performance of all successful candidates, provided that the aggregate is not less than 55%.
2. Jaypee Group Prize Award:
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive program
Examination at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject, and obtaining the highest marks in the aggregate, taking into
account the performance of all such successful candidates.
3. Late Shri Jagdish Chandra Malhotra Memorial Annual Award:

Awarded to a lady candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive
program Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming
exemption in any subject and obtaining the highest marks in the aggregate
taking into account the results of June and December examinations.
4. Kedarnath Prahladrai Dhanuka Memorial Award:
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the second highest marks in the aggregate takinginto account the performance of all successful candidates.
5. MaujiRam Jain Memorial Award:
Awarded to a lady candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive
program Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming
exemption in any subject and obtaining the highest marks in the aggregate
taking into account the performance of all successful lady candidates.
6. SMT.BonadadaSamanthakamani Memorial Silver Medal:
Awarded to a lady candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive
program Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming
exemption in any subject and obtaining the second highest marks in the
aggregate taking second highest marks in the aggregate taking into account
the performance of all successful lady candidates.
7. Taxmann’s Prize Award:
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the highest marks in ‘Tax Laws’ paper.
8. Preeti Puraskar:
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the highest marks in ‘Company Law’ paper.
ESTERN INDIA REGIONAL COUNCIL PRIZE AWARDS:‐
1. EIRC Cash Prize
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive Program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the Highest marks in ‘Company Secretarial Practice’
paper taking into account the performance of all successful candidates from
examination centres within Eastern Region.
2. KedarnathDhanuka Memorial Cash Prize
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive Program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the highest marks in the aggregate taking into
account the performance of all successful candidates from examination
centres within the Eastern Region.
NORTHERN INDIA REGIONAL COUNCIL PRIZE AWARDS:‐
1. NIRC Prize Award for Both Groups
Awarded to candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive Program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the highest marks in the aggregate taking into
account the performance of all successful candidates from examination
centers within the Northern Region.
SOUTHERN INDIA REGIONAL COUNCIL PRIZE AWARDS:‐
1. LATE G.SundaraRajan Endowment Award
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive Program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the highest marks in ‘Management Information
systems and Corporate Communication’ paper taking into account the
performance of all successful candidates from examination centers within the
Southern Region.
2. SIRC‐V.Kumar Memorial Prize Award
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive Program
Examination, at first attempt, in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the highest marks in ‘Tax Laws’ taking into account
the performance of all successful candidates from examination centres within
the Southern Region.

Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive Program

any subject and obtaining the highest mark in ‘Company Law’ paper taking
into account the performance of all successful candidates from examination
centres situated within the Southern Region.
4. Sirubalakkadu Sambamoorthy Srinivasan Memorial Prize Award
Awarded to a candidate who passes in all papers of the Executive Program
examination, at first attempt in one sitting, without claiming exemption in
any subject and obtaining the highest marks in the aggregate taking into
account the performance of all successful candidates from examination
centres situated within the SourthernRetion.
